I think for every July 4 in the past four years, I’ve made plans to meet people and watch the fireworks from the bleachers in the football stadium. Tonight, Mom and I went for an after-dinner walk to Albertsons, and on our way back, we heard the crackle of the fireworks and discovered the best place to view the show - the little hill by the shopping center’s main entrance. So we plopped right down on the sidewalk, opened the bag of Albertsons chocolate-chip cookies (best cookies ever! I’d forgotten how much I liked them after Stern dining’s cookies) and coffee ice cream, and dug in.
